Why 'Tragic Love Company?'
The Stereophonics, hailing from Cwmaman, South Wales, used to be called 'Tragic Love Company' in their teenage years, when the biggest gig they played was infront of 40 people in the local Pubs and Working Men's Clubs.
And only one name change later, and an interview with one Richard Branson (from Virgin), the went from being the unknown Tragic Love Company, to the World-Wide famous Stereophonics, who are now the proud owners of two platinum albums, and a Brit award for Best Newcomer '98. Not bad for 4 year's work huh?
